This superb Cabernet Sauvignon wine was made with selected grapes from thirty five year old vines grown in an exceptional “terroir” in our vineyards in the Maipo Valley. After being carefully aged in French oak barrels it was bottled and stored in our cellars until it reached maturity.
It has an intense dark ruby colour with an elegant aroma. Oak characters have added to the complexity and integrated with the fruit flavours to produce this long and velvety wine. It is ideal with red meats, game , stews and ripe cheese.

The wines of CHATEAU DE POMMARD have a luminous and deep colour. Their aromas open out with a beautiful complexity which combines spices and Morello cherries, vanilla, liquorice and fruit preserves. Powerful and generous on the palate, their tanins are harmoniously melted, and they have a long "persistency" in mouth. In short, a great Pommard which combines finesse and strength, peaks at between six and fifteen years, and the more prestigious years will keep for much longer.

They fit with red meats and meats in a sauce, game and cheeses.

Our bottles, manufactured in exclusivity for CHATEAU DE POMMARD , remain faithful to the traditional model in use in the 18th century. They are delivered in wooden cases of 12 bottles, branded with the monogram of the Chateau.

All our wines are distributed directly from the property, you will not find them in the shops.
