A limited production Nectar represents 16000 bottles, 4 % of the total production . It made it s first appearance in 1995 and overwhelmed the general judgements by showing that a "Côte de Bourg" can be as good as one of the best Bordeaux.

A chosen blending,
made of Merlot (85%) and Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested by hand, like every "Château de la Grave". In between the barrels the measure of choice is: color, richness, finesse, tannins, fruitiness and concentration

Aging in barrels :
for 14 months this wine is maturing in new oak barrels or one year old ones, chosen in-between " chênes merrains de haute futaie ", in the heart of the oak tree.
